WHO WE ARE
HOW SCP GOT STARTED
While working at a paper company, Bob Luedtke was experiencing shortcomings in their wood packaging. So, in 1994, he and his two original partners starting making pallets and skids by hand after work to supply the mill, thus creating SCP Inc.
The philosophy that SCP Inc. has always had is to provide customers with exactly what they want, when they want it, and in the quantity they need, and all at a fair price. It is this philosophy that took the business from one customer to a multimillion dollar company.
Now SCP Inc. is managed by the second generation, Charlie and Joe. They both work daily to ensure the philosophy of SCP doesn’t change.
MISSION STATEMENT
Through our growth, the mission of SCP Inc. has always remained the same:
- Provide our customers with exactly what they need, when they need it, and at a fair price.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and clean working environment for all employees.
- Strive to create as little waste as possible. Reuse or recycle.
ACTIVE IN OUR COMMUNITY
SCP Inc. is actively involved in the community. Some of our involvement includes scholarships, donations to local organizations and schools, and contributing to various Scouting projects.
Some of the contributions we’ve made have gone to WOW – We Care Charity, United Way, and the Hortonville Lions Club.
We’ve recently made our annual Girl Scout cookie purchase! We love supporting an organization that inspires entrepreneurs through selling cookies. SCP Inc. hopes that the Girls Scouts enjoy their trip, activity, service project, or camp they get to experience due to all their hard work!
